Wednesday 24 & 31 July, 2024. 10am-2pm.For Farleys 75…I Remember, two very special cookery workshops. Food can be so evocative of time, people and place, acting as a powerful trigger that arouses treasured memories. Lee Miller’s 1950’s fitted kitchen at Farleys is, to some degree, a time capsule, an Aladdin’s cave of ingredients and gadgets, which were all used by Lee over her many years creating and cooking. During these cookery workshops at Farleys, you are sure to find much that stimulates your own memories of the food of your past, and the ways in which it is relevant today. Farleys kitchen comes alive during our fun workshops, when we exchange ideas and recreate Lee’s recipes using ingredients from her vegetable patch in the garden.
