Human Nature – a portrait photography workshop. Wed 08 May 2024 11am-4pm

£85.00

Led by Farleys exhibiting photographer Hanna-Katrina Jedrosz, who has a wealth of experience photographing portraits for a range of editorial and creative clients and collaborators, this will be a playful and engaging workshop which will enable you to improve your portrait photography.

You will explore the process of creating portrait photographs working with professional sitters/models and other members of the group. You will look at examples of incredible portraits created by Lee Miller and consider the powerful narratives communicated through photographs. You will have the opportunity to more deeply ‘read’ different types of portraits and understand the feeling that can be created and communicated through different approaches, compositions and energies.

As a participant of the workshop you are invited to bring along a small selection of your own gathered photos, family portraits or photos of dear friends, to help inform and inspire the activity of the workshop, share stories and generate discussions. You are also invited to bring any special items of clothing or accessories you may like to include in the photographs.
