Our 1st Surrealist Picnic in 2017
The 1st Surrealist Picnic was held on Sunday, 27 August 2017 on a glorious sunny day in Farleys Garden. Our guests really embraced the chance to celebrate Surrealism not only with their costumes but also with their picnic food. Lit up cockroaches in blue jelly was just one of the offerings of the day.
Surrealist Picnic 2018
Our 2nd Annual Surrealist Picnic included two jazz bands, surreal performance and unseasonably wet weather! Guests sheltered in Farleys Gallery, with the weather failing to dampen the Surrealist spirit. Delicious cakes and ice lollies made from Lee Miller’s recipes were made available thanks to Seven Sisters Spices

Surrealist Picnic 2019
Farleys 3rd Annual Surrealist Picnic included two brilliant jazz bands (The Hot Club of Jevington and Jonathan Bailey’s Quartet), stunning contemporary dance from Found Dances and beautiful Kathak dance by Sonia Sonalisa. Amazing surreal costumes graced the garden and creative surreal picnic food was enjoyed and shared in hot, sunny weather. The event was made possible with the generous support of;
