Lee’s American Kitchen – A Cookery Workshop
In this workshop we will explore the ingredients and recipes that were inspired by Lee’s American upbringing, and fuelled by the sometimes wild ingredients sent over from the U.S.A. to Lee by her mum, Florence. Dishes cooked in Lee’s kitchen will include; Lee’s No Dough Pizza and Tomato Soup Cake.
All to be enjoyed, once completed, during a lunch with your fellow workshop attendees, at Lee Miller’s kitchen table.
Choose a four hour workshop on either Monday 10th, or Tuesday 11th February 2025.
Lee’s Egyptian Kitchen – A Cookery Workshop
Monday 24, or Tuesday 25 Feb 2025. 10am - 2pmA strong influence on Lee’s culinary experiments was the time she spent living in Egypt during the 1930s, when she was married to Aziz Eloi Bey. In Lee’s Egyptian Kitchen cookery workshop, we will celebrate Lee’s love of spices, aromatics & floral waters. Dishes cooked will include; Coriander Rice Salad, Mahlebieh (Ground Rice Pudding), and Persian Carpet.
All to be enjoyed, once completed, during a lunch with your fellow workshop attendees, at Lee Miller’s kitchen table.

Farleys 75th Anniversary: Collaborations
As part of Farleys 75th anniversary we’re collaborating with museums, galleries, and other artistic institutions across the UK and Ireland, exploring the impact and inspiration that Lee Miller, Roland Penrose and their East Sussex home had.
We’re thrilled to be working with esteemed venues such as the Victoria Gallery & Museum in Liverpool, The Hellenic Centre in London, The GAA in Dublin, Ireland, Petersfield Museum & Art Gallery, and many more as part of this project.
This project will see exhibitions, displays and talks take place throughout all of 2024. Further information about all of the collaborations can be seen on this dedicated page, as well as on this interactive map.

A unique chance to enjoy the extraordinary atmosphere of the Sussex farm house which became a meeting place of many of the great names of the twentieth century modern art scene and now houses the Lee Miller Archives.
