Flower Sketching in Farleys Garden. Wed 23 Oct 2024 10am-3pm

£75.00

We embrace the colour and beauty of autumn as Farleys House garden is put to bed for winter. We collect seed heads, dry grasses, leaves and ferns from the garden for our inspiration. With an emphasis on observational drawing, we look at the shape, form, texture and colour of our garden finds. Initially we draw from life and then create a composition that we can take into colour. Sketching materials provided. Tea and cake will be provided at 2.30pm.

If the weather is inclement, we will collect in the garden and continue the workshop in the comfort of the gallery space.

A suggested materials list for working in colour will be provided on booking.
