Suzannah Pettigrew is an artist living and working in London. Pettigrew’s practice explores digital tactics of power play and the evolution of participation in a post-human society, examining the implications of digital culture and technological advancements on the individual and collective psyche. She intertwines photography, text, sculpture, sound, video and performance with world building ideas and language. Pettigrew’s practice spans from commercial photography to art direction and digital creative projects.

Join us in Farleys Gallery for a discussion between artist and photographer Suzannah Pettigrew and curator, writer and researcher Dr Maggie Matić. They will explore the artistic process and context of the work exhibited, the importance of the archive to feminist and queer studies and Pettigrew’s long time connection to Farleys and the local area. There will also be a short Q&A and a chance to enjoy the exhibition and meet the artist and curator.

Dr Maggie Matić (they/them) is a curator, writer and researcher with a specialism in contemporary feminist, crip and queer theory and visual culture. Maggie is currently Programme Manager and Artist Development Curator at Somerset House Studios and is a trustee of The Feminist Library. They have previously worked at Studio Voltaire, Tate, FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology), The University of Liverpool and The Royal Standard.
