For 2026 in Farleys Cafe Gallery, we have selected whimsical, fun images of a diverse array of animals, as captured on camera by Lee Miller. Miller brings wit and a surrealist eye to her depictions of a surprisingly vast collection of creatures great and small; of feather, fur, scale and shell. As with all exhibitions of Miller’s work, it showcases Miller’s innovative use of her lens, her mastery of photographic techniques and her accomplished exploration of diverse subject matter and styles. It is a celebration of a ground-breaking twentieth century artist and her Rolleiflex. And specifically for this exhibition, we focus on Miller’s love of animals and her lively sense of humour. We hope this will bring a little, lighthearted amusement to our visitors as they enjoy some delicious refreshments in Farleys Cafe Gallery.
