The Road Is Wider Than Long at The Hellenic Centre

Alongside the display of four of Lee Miller’s works throughout 2024, Antony Penrose will be giving a talk at The Hellenic Centre as part of Farleys 75th Anniversary Celebrations. Penrose, son of Lee Miller and the British surrealist artist Roland Penrose, will present a talk on his father’s book The Road Is Wider Than Long, a love poem created as a photo-book that recounts a journey the couple made together through the Balkans in 1938, visiting Greece and isolated rural communities in Romania.
