The Lee Miller Archives Print Room Brighton is part of Artists Open Houses Central Trail and is a great opportunity for collectors and browsers to discover more of Lee Miller’s work and meet some of the team behind her archives.
Lee Miller (1907-1977) is one of the 20th century’s most influential photographers. After making her mark in the surrealist circles of Paris and New York she became one of the first female combat war correspondents during WWII, before settling at Farleys House in Sussex.
80 years on from the start of WWII, we focus on her images of London during the Blitz and the liberation of Paris in 1944.
Collectors and browsers are welcome.
