Lee Miller and Fashion: Hand Grenades like Cartier Clips
Lee Miller and Fashion: Hand grenades like Cartier clips
Fashion and surrealism shaped Lee Miller’s unique way of seeing the world.
First as a model, posing for some of the top photographers in America, Lee later became a fashion photographer in her own right. She then metamorphosed into a WWII correspondent & combat photographer, before returning to her role as a photographer at British Vogue, producing distinctive and witty images in the post-war years.
This illustrated presentation explores the influence of fashion on Lee’s career. Written and presented by her son Antony Penrose
