British Art at Home

About this tour

Between the two houses, a magnificent picture of almost a century of British Modernism and Surrealism is conjured up. Both were decorated by the artists that inhabited them and are unique examples of their work, lifestyles and philosophies. With a list of visitors to the houses that includes Pablo Picasso, Virginia Woolf, Maynard Keynes, Roger Fry, Man Ray, Joan Miró and Paul Éluard, there is much to enjoy.
